The McBurney Park Neighbourhood Association (MPNA) has been been around since 2004 and works to ensure that neighbourhood residents have safe streets, an enjoyable and attractive park and a meaningful voice at City Hall. Centered on McBurney Park, the MPNA represents the King’s Town District.

Of course, in reality, anyone who feels they have an interest in our area – whether they live here or not – is welcome to participate in MPNA activities. Alec Ross, a previous MPNA coordinator, created a web site for our association. Although Alec no longer updates it, his web site provides context and information about our area.

Great to see the site attracting posts and comments. I wrote some songs about problems with the 3rd crossing in connection with plans for The Great Cataraqui Trail Association. I believe they can co-exist amicably. Looking forward to Music Festival day in the park as always. Rose DeShaw

Nice clean site, Anne. I’ll book mark it and check back regularly!
